Elizabeth Ferrara is a certified Physician Assistant, serving patients at Markidian Gynecology and Women's Health, at their Princeton, NJ office.
Having earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University, Liz embarked on her professional journey within the Jefferson University health system. Specializing in emergency medicine, she served across three bustling emergency departments in Philadelphia. In this demanding setting, Liz honed her skills in diagnosing and managing acute conditions, interpreting laboratory studies and diagnostic imaging, and performing a variety of minor surgical procedures. Liz is committed to collaborative decision-making with her patients, encouraging their active involvement in creating personalized treatment plans.
Throughout her tenure in the Emergency Department, Liz observed a concerning trend: many women neglected regular gynecological care until they faced critical health emergencies. She then chose to concentrate her practice on women's gynecological health. Liz strives to educate women on the vital importance of prioritizing their gynecological well-being as an integral component of their overall health care regimen.
Her commitment to excellence is underscored by her academic achievements, including being a merit scholar at The College of New Jersey and graduating magna cum laude from the Honors Program in the School of Health Sciences.
She currently welcomes new patients and looks forward to working with you!
